LET SOMEONE ELSE DO THE DRIVING IN
THE NEW FOREST

June 2009: The New Forest Tourism Association (www.thenewforest.co.uk) has endorsed The New Forest Tour open-top bus, now in its fifth year, as an important component to their ‘eco-destination’ policy for day visitors or longer-stay holidaymakers.

Tickets, available online at (www.thenewforesttour.info) are priced from £4.50 per person: group tickets (max 5 people) are £22.50, adult tickets (16yrs and over) are £9, children under 5yrs go free and tickets for 5 to 15 year olds are £4.50. Tickets are valid for a full day’s travel using the hop-on/hop-off system and the tour links towns and villages throughout the New Forest, operating regular departures throughout the day up to September 13th 2009.

Stephen Lorton, Chairman of the New Forest Tourism Association, said: ‘This is a great service for visitors. Not only does it save thousands of private car journeys each summer but it also provides a wonderful way to really enjoy Britain’s newest National Park. There is no better way to see our rich open countryside and historic villages (including stops at popular attractions such as Beaulieu Motor Museum and Exbury Gardens & Steam Railway) than from the top of an open bus.

With each ticket comes a New Forest Tour Official Guide that provides useful information about what to look out for, discounts for attractions and 4 sample cycling/walking routes.

See more, explore more and enjoy more of this beautiful area of England by going green and allowing someone else do the driving.
